News Leader, a newly launched national Hindi news channel, is now available free-to-air (FTA) on the GSAT-30 satellite at 83.0° East. This is useful news for C-band satellite TV viewers, cable operators and headend operators who want to receive the channel directly through satellite. News Leader is a national Hindi news and current affairs channel promoted by Leader News Network Pvt. Ltd. Its editorial and broadcast operations are based in Noida.

According to the broadcaster’s launch announcement, News Leader intends to focus on viewers’ voices, everyday concerns and public-interest issues. The channel is headed by Rohit Saval as CEO and Editor-in-Chief.
